What is FEAST?
FEAST is a series of interdisciplinary, dinner-table-style discussions that bring together artists, scientists, and the public to explore the connections between climate change, human health, and creative collaboration.
FEAST is a call to gather.

FEAST (Fostering Ecocentric Art & Science Together) is a multipart initiative, consisting of a series of public conversations led by artists Victoria Vesna and Ellen Levy that is hosted by CPW. Renowned ecoartists and scientists who are deeply rooted in community-engaged practice interact with the public. They define and explore the urgent entanglements of environmental and human health through photographic and media arts.
FEAST is generously sponsored by a grant from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund.

The inaugural events are hosted by CPW in Kingston. Prior to each event, the featured artists introduce their projects during “Meet the Artist” talks, which have been linked here for online viewing.
About FEAST
FEAST (Fostering Eco-centric Art & Science Together) is a bold, interdisciplinary initiative that brings together art, science, food, and community to engage in dialogue around pressing issues that address the urgent entanglements of environmental and human health through the lens of photographic and media arts. FEAST convenes in three participatory round tables, centered around locally sourced food.
Funded by a prestigious seed grant from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, FEAST is both a conceptual framework and a public engagement platform that explores what a desirable ecosystem might look like. Through a series of experiential, photography and media-driven programs, FEAST draws attention to the interdependencies of food, climate, soil, and health — inviting new ways of seeing, sensing, and responding to ecological crisis. At the heart of FEAST’s approach is a deceptively simple yet powerful tool: FOOD.
